Enedis inaugurated its Eco-Campus in La Pérollière, near Lyon, on October 1, 2026. The site, transformed for €62 million, will train and house over 11,000 trainees annually from 2027, focusing on electrical grid professions and CSR.

As Enedis's main training center for grid professions, the La Pérollière Eco-Campus supports the acquisition of skills for operating, maintaining, and developing the network. It also embodies the company's corporate social and environmental responsibility (CSR) ambitions.
At the inauguration, Marianne Laigneau, chairwoman of Enedis's executive board, stated: 'France's major electrification is primarily prepared through skills. With the La Pérollière Eco-Campus, Enedis is investing in the women and men who will build tomorrow's electrical grid: a more robust, sustainable grid serving all territories.'
This industrial and human project addresses the growing need for skills related to the energy transition, particularly in supporting the move away from fossil fuels, the development of electrical uses, and the grid's adaptation to climate change. It prepares electrotechnicians and intervention technicians to develop and maintain a more robust grid.
In 2025, Enedis allocated €142 million to training, professionalization, and apprenticeships, representing nearly 7% of its payroll. Its six national campuses hosted over 25,000 trainees.
The renovation prioritized low-carbon materials and reuse, valorizing 88% of the over 500 tons of waste generated. The campus utilizes geothermal energy and photovoltaic panels for energy autonomy. Green spaces and habitats for local flora and fauna promote biodiversity.
Over 90% of the companies involved in the renovation are based in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, supporting the local economy. The restoration of the Villa Mangini, a historic monument, combines heritage preservation with the creation of a meeting space.
This modernization is expected to generate over €4 million in annual savings through site upgrades and optimized operations.
