The Grenoble Métropole is launching exceptional aid, ranging from €3,000 to €10,000, to support small businesses affected by damage during demonstrations on October 17. Applications can be submitted until January 31, 2027.

Over 100 businesses in the metropolitan area, primarily in the city center of Grenoble, suffered significant damage. To assist affected professionals and facilitate the resumption of their activities, the Métropole has established this flat-rate aid to urgently finance the repair and securing of damaged shop windows and storefronts. This initiative complements support measures offered by the State, the Region, and the CCI of Grenoble.
Despite a constrained budget, the Métropole has reallocated existing credits to create a fund of up to €500,000. This financial effort aims to support affected businesses, preserve jobs and economic activities, and restore public spaces.
On the ground, dedicated business services are conducting numerous visits to affected businesses to assess the situation and identify needs. Concurrently, metropolitan services, alongside the services of the City of Grenoble, have participated in cleaning public spaces and are working on repairing damaged urban furniture.
