Each year, artisanal businesses demonstrate their capacity for innovation. The Artinov competition, running for over 30 years, shines a spotlight on initiatives that boost local economies. Organized by CMA Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, it rewards projects addressing current challenges, including new products, redesigned manufacturing processes, novel services, digital innovations, environmental approaches, or practice evolutions.
In the Rhône department, several laureates stood out. In the Technological or Process Innovation category, Wilfrid Kouznetzoff was recognized for his brand INSOLENT, which develops patented ergonomic tools, such as innovative scissors, aimed at reducing musculoskeletal disorders.
For Product or Service Innovation, the company Sloe presented Néo, a certified organic solid soap capable of replacing five daily cleansing products. In the Know-how Innovation category, Charcuterie Bru, represented by Bruno Poncet, opened France's first Pâté-croûte store, blending artisanal expertise with creativity.
Social or Societal Innovation was celebrated at Adapt & Joy, the first solution integrating clothing adaptation into the purchasing process for people with reduced mobility. Regarding Environmental Innovation, the young Lyon-based company Moumoute designs biodegradable acoustic solutions using French sheep wool.
Finally, the Jury's Favorite award went to Mayilor for its rechargeable, 100% natural, and patented solid cosmetic sticks designed for curly and coily hair care.
The CMA emphasizes that its advisors support artisans in analyzing and developing their innovation projects.
