Innovation, whether technical, digital, environmental, or organizational, is a key driver of performance for craft businesses. The Artinov competition, launched by the CMA Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, highlights artisans who demonstrate boldness and initiative. This year, the 2026 laureates in the Ain have been announced, recognizing projects that are transforming trades.
For over thirty years, Artinov has encouraged this dynamic by rewarding improvements in products, services, production methods, business organization, and environmental impact. The competition offers valuable visibility to companies and showcases their ability to evolve their craft. More than 700 artisans have already received this regional recognition since the contest's inception.
In the Ain department, several laureates have distinguished themselves:
Radior was recognized in the Social or Societal Innovation category for democratizing French-made electric bikes. These bikes feature an open, durable, and comfortable steel frame, a high-end transmission, all priced under €3,000.
For Technical or Process Innovation, Team Green Light won for its custom-made phototherapy ramps. These ramps rapidly regenerate turf on stadiums and golf courses, while reducing fungal diseases, pesticide treatments, and energy consumption.
In the Product or Service Innovation category, Vanotee has reinvented the golf tee with a patented kit. These bi-material, more resistant, interconnected tees are manufactured in Oyonnax and already listed by Décathlon.
ATEC Electrotechnique received the award for Know-how Innovation for SURICAT. This plug & play solution, connected via Wi-Fi and supported by artificial intelligence, allows real-time control of machinery, energy, and production, thus democratizing Industry 4.0.
Finally, the Jury's Favorite award went to Negoplast International for « LucioLed ». This solar-powered, autonomous, and wireless solution is integrated into marker posts to guide and secure all types of terrain, reinventing night-time marking.
The CMA emphasizes that every innovation begins with an idea and offers its experts to guide artisans in developing their projects.
