CCI France is launching a national barometer to assess the perception and obstacles faced by TPE-SMEs regarding decarbonization, in order to adapt support measures. Business leaders are invited to respond anonymously by November 18, 2026.

In the face of the climate emergency, decarbonization has become a strategic priority for many companies. However, very small enterprises (TPEs) and small SMEs, which form the core of the economic fabric, often remain less documented regarding their real challenges. To address this gap, CCI France has launched a national barometer for the leaders of these structures.
This questionnaire, which takes less than 8 minutes to complete anonymously, aims to measure the place of decarbonization in companies' strategies, the pressure from clients, the impact of energy prices, the obstacles encountered (lack of time, skills, cash flow), as well as the needs for financing and support. Businesses in the Alpes-Maritimes are particularly encouraged to participate.
The results of this barometer will be cross-referenced with data from LISE® (Limit your Impacts and Track your Emissions) carbon diagnostics, a tool developed by the CCIs. The objective is to compare leaders' perceptions with concrete measurements to produce a national report with figures on the transition trajectories of TPE-SMEs.
The LISE® tool, certified by AFNOR, has already enabled over 700 companies to conduct their carbon diagnostics and has trained more than 250 advisors. CCI Nice Côte d’Azur, through its Industry and Energy Hub, offers personalized support to companies for their low-carbon transition, from measurement to action, including identifying levers and directing them towards available financing.
Robin Sylvestre, Head of the Industry and Energy sectors at CCI Nice Côte d’Azur, emphasizes: 'Every engaged company benefits from operational, technical, and strategic support at each stage of the decarbonization journey, to transform constraints into opportunities and remain competitive.'
