The ceilings for organic farming conversion aid (CAB) applicable in 2026 will be carried over for the 2027 campaign in Occitanie, with a notable change regarding a former derogation.

In Occitanie, the ceilings for organic farming conversion aid (CAB) for the 2027 campaign will remain the same as in 2026. The 10-hectare limit for areas with forage legumes, legume-based mixtures, and fallows is also maintained, with an exception for organic livestock farms.
The main change for 2027 is the removal of the derogation that, in certain cases, allowed farms already engaged in organic farming to exceed this 10-hectare ceiling. This provision was rarely used and required complex calculation methods.
Other CAB aid ceiling rules remain unchanged. The annual aid ceiling remains set at €18,000 per farm (€34,000 for young farmers), with the application of GAEC transparency.
