The Decarb Flash Artisan initiative supports artisanal businesses in replacing their fossil fuel-powered equipment with more efficient and less polluting electric alternatives.

Artisanal businesses can now benefit from financial aid to replace their energy-intensive equipment under the "Decarb Flash Artisan" program. This initiative aims to encourage the transition to electric solutions, which are more environmentally friendly and potentially more economical in the long run.
The acquisition of new electrical equipment often represents a significant investment. However, electrifying appliances offers multiple advantages: reduced energy consumption, better cost control against fossil fuel price fluctuations, and optimized consumption through more efficient technologies. These improvements also contribute to employee comfort and the modernization of production tools.
The program targets artisans wishing to replace equipment using fossil energy (gas, oil, LPG) with an electrical equivalent in terms of usage and power. Sectors concerned include food trades (electric cooking appliances), vehicle maintenance and repair (electric paint booths), laundry and dry cleaning services (washing, drying, and ironing equipment), and craft trades (electric kilns for artisanal manufacturing).
Eligible operations involve replacing equipment running on fossil fuel with an electrical appliance that performs the same function. The program is open to artisanal businesses from September 30, 2026, to June 15, 2027.
