ANSSI has unveiled the 8 selected entities following its call for interest to support cybersecurity, allocating 1.44 million euros to strengthen the protection of strategic sectors.

The National Cybersecurity and Information Security Agency (ANSSI) closed its call for interest (AMI) on July 27, 2026, for the support of creating and developing sector-specific cybersecurity entities. This AMI, launched on June 17, 2026, aimed to bolster France's capacity against the growing cyber threat, particularly in strategic and critical sectors.
Amidst a context of high cyber threats, the National Strategic Review from July 2025 and the National Cybersecurity Strategy 2026-2030 emphasize the need to improve coordination and decision-making for national operational support. The goal was to foster the establishment or enhancement of the nation's defensive and reactive cybersecurity organization.
The AMI SEC pursued two main objectives: the creation of new Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) entities for underserved sectors, and the development of existing CSIRTs to ensure their long-term sustainability and professionalization.
Out of 15 submitted applications, ANSSI selected 8 winners. A total of 1.44 million euros has been allocated: 240,000 euros for the creation of sectorial CSIRT projects and 120,000 euros for the development of sectorial CSIRT applications.
