The Arcom has launched an investigation into the French platform Mym, suspecting violations of the Digital Services Regulation (DSA) concerning the protection of minors and service transparency.

The Digital Services Regulation (DSA) imposes strict obligations on platforms available in Europe, particularly regarding transparency, combating illegal content, and protecting minors. Since May 2024, the Arcom has been overseeing compliance with these obligations by platforms established in France, including Mym, a social network offering exclusive content, often of an erotic or sexual nature.
Following an initial analysis, the Arcom suspects Mym of violating the DSA on two main fronts: the protection of minors, particularly regarding age verification mechanisms, and service transparency, including incomplete terms of service and insufficient information on recommendation systems.
To verify these concerns, the Arcom sent an information request to Mym on October 14, 2026. The platform has fifteen days to respond, under penalty of sanctions.
The Authority reiterates its commitment to ensuring online platforms operate with greater transparency and provide enhanced protection for their users, especially children.
