On the occasion of Global Investor Week, the AMF and savings professionals are mobilizing from October 5 to 11, 2026, to promote financial education and help better protect savers. Throughout the week, numerous events and educational content will be offered on various themes: investment basics, the stock market, long-term savings, artificial intelligence, and preventing financial scams.
A new campaign by the AMF, titled 'The Mysteries of Investipolis,' is being launched to educate young investors. This initiative aims to encourage them to critically assess the numerous investment-related content and discourse they encounter on social media, and to adopt good practices before investing. The campaign, broadcast on Instagram and TikTok for several weeks, emphasizes that investing is not a game and highlights the importance of informing oneself, verifying sources, and assessing risks before investing.
An online event on initial public offerings (IPOs) is scheduled for Tuesday, October 6, at 6:30 PM. Organized by the AMF and Place des investisseurs, this free webinar will allow savers to ask questions directly to our speakers about how an IPO works, what information to check before deciding to invest, and how to buy shares.
This 10th edition of Global Investor Week offers savers numerous resources to better understand financial products and markets. In France, various financial sector players such as La Finance pour tous, Better Finance, Bourse Direct, Easy Bourse, NextWise, Place des investisseurs, Tout sur mes finances, and the French Asset Management Association (AFG) will provide educational content.
Established in 2017 by the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO), of which the AMF is a member, Global Investor Week takes place simultaneously across five continents. The 2026 edition focuses on investor resilience, digital deception, and preventing financial scams.
