For the first time, Bordeaux Airport serves the city of Cairo in Egypt! The new direct route between Bordeaux and Cairo, operated by Transavia, was inaugurated on Thursday, October 29, 2026. This event opens a new gateway to Egypt's history, directly from Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
Transavia will now operate flights every Sunday. Departures from Bordeaux to Cairo are scheduled for 06:30, arriving in Cairo at 12:50 (local time). Return flights from Cairo to Bordeaux will depart every Sunday at 12:45, arriving in Bordeaux at 16:35 (local time).
In addition to this new destination, Transavia offers four other direct routes to sunny destinations for the winter, providing opportunities for discovery and relaxation.
