Since 2020, the University of Toulon has provided educators and staff with the Wooclap solution, which allows for easy integration of quizzes, polls, and interactive activities into courses, presentations, or meetings. The tool is increasingly adopted, both in-person and remotely, synchronously and asynchronously.
This academic year marks a new milestone with the integration of artificial intelligence-related functionalities. AI can now assist educators before, during, and after their teaching activities.
Among the new features, AI helps save preparation time by generating questions from existing materials and diversifying activity formats. It also aids in varying the proposals made to students, notably through the creation of visual activities from captioned images, making it easier to adapt to pedagogical objectives.
Student response analysis is also enhanced: AI can group answers by themes, highlight key ideas, spark new reflections, and suggest follow-up questions to deepen understanding.
