Amidst stress, solitude, and economic pressure, the health of entrepreneurs was central to discussions. The event, organized by AG2R LA MONDIALE in partnership with the Fédération Française de Cardiologie and supported by the CCI Seine-et-Marne, aimed to raise awareness and foster dialogue on prevention.
A study revealed a paradox: while 86% of executives rate their mental health positively, 64% experience intense work-related stress at least occasionally. Economic pressure (54%) and the accumulation of urgent tasks (52%) are significant sources of tension.
Stéphane Torrent, Commercial Development Director Paris East at AG2R LA MONDIALE, emphasized the need to strengthen prevention. He noted that 56% of executives believe they cannot take time off without impacting their business, and 42% have continued working despite health conditions warranting a break.
Difficulty in discussing personal vulnerability is also a barrier, with 41% of executives viewing their status as an impediment to expressing psychological difficulties. Gwénaëlle Goëler, Mental Health & Inner Ecology Facilitator, focused on creating collective momentum to help leaders navigate economic uncertainties.
The event offered cardiovascular prevention and screening, discussions with professionals, first aid awareness, and sessions on mental health. AG2R LA MONDIALE also provides a 24/7 psychological support helpline.
Executives are seeking simple, practical solutions. Lack of time (38%) and information (35%) are the main obstacles to implementing prevention. They prefer practical guides and short online training.
The core message is that an executive's health is intrinsically linked to their company's. Self-care enables better leadership and ensures the continuity of entrepreneurial projects. The CCI Seine-et-Marne reinforces its supportive role, extending beyond economic development to offer listening and solutions.
