The Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) and the Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution (ACPR) have issued a warning concerning several entities offering investments in the unregulated foreign exchange market (Forex) and crypto-asset derivative products in France without the necessary authorization.

With the objective of protecting savers, the AMF and ACPR regularly update their blacklists of websites identified as operating without authorization in these areas. Since the beginning of 2026, 57 unauthorized sites have been added to the Forex category and 36 to the crypto-asset derivatives category, with 26 and 10 respectively in the third quarter.
The complete lists of unauthorized sites are available on the Assurance Banque Épargne Infoservice – ABEIS website, as well as on the AMF's website. These lists are updated frequently but cannot be exhaustive due to the regular emergence of new unauthorized players.
To verify the authorization of a financial intermediary in France, one can consult the lists of authorized investment service providers, financial investment advisors (CIF), or crowdfunding service providers (PSFP). If an intermediary is not on any of these lists, it is strongly advised not to respond to their solicitations, as they may be in breach of legislation.
The AMF, an independent public authority, ensures the protection of invested savings, the quality of financial information, and the proper functioning of markets. The ACPR, linked to the Banque de France, supervises the banking and insurance sectors and ensures financial stability.
